Centaurus, Open Access, and Open Science
With the generous support of Brepols
In this roundtable, ESHS and Brepols representatives will discuss, with policy makers, the mission of Centaurus, the official journal of the ESHS. They will address its recent transformation into an Open Access journal, as well as its prospects for the future, in the context of the broader movement of Open Science in academia.
ERC Granting Opportunities

This roundtable aims to introduce the funding schemes of the European Research Council – ERC, including Starting, Consolidator, Advanced, and Synergy grants. It will present the SH6 panel on “The Study of the Human Past” as well as the potential of ERC grants for applicants at diverse career stages. In addition, an ERC grantee will present his experiences in going through the selection procedure and running ERC projects in history of science.
